In January 2013, I made the decision to quit my job, take a break from the city I have called home for nine years (Washington D.C.) and move to London and Paris for about six months. Capital Citizenne was my way of chronicling and sharing my journey with friends and family. After returning to D.C., I decided to pursue photography full time, and put the blog to the side.
